Bangtao Beach ๐ a Beautiful Phuket Beach
Bangtao Beach in Phuket Thailand
Bangtao beach is located in the central west coast of the island and is one of the most long Phuket beaches.
The beach is between Surin and Layan beach. The beach is about 2 kilometers long, plenty of Seafood and Thai restaurants right on the sand. There are Beach clubs, bars and big resorts as the luxurious Banyan Tree Phuket.
In some parts of the beach you can rent beach loungers and umbrellas for 200 Baht. There are also beach activities along the beach that tourists like to do. For instance, tourists like parasailing, jet ski and paddle board.
Several areas of the beach are also well shaded by tall pines to protect from the sun. Staying under the shade you can feel the fresh sea breeze.
Where to eat and what to do
On the beach, there are many Thai Restaurants with seafood and International cuisine. You have a very wide choice where to eat or naturally having dinner low-medium cost. After the sunset, the lights and music come on giving a pleasant atmosphere. We love eating at these restaurants by the sea and each time give us different emotions.
Do not miss a chance to shoot photos at sunset because they are really colorful with a fantastic scenery!
If you want to continue your nightlife on the beach, there are many Beach clubs. Catch Beach Club is one of the most popular on Bangtao Beach. It is located near the Arinara Bangtao Beach Resort. The popular Xana Beach Club is a few steps away from the Mรถvenpick Resort Phuket. Blue Siam Beach Club is located on the southern part of the beach. However, it is less known but very cozy and it is often crowded at dinner!
Just a few steps from this beach club, there is a small area where the local fishermen are. If you go in the morning, you can have a chance to buy fresh fish at a good price. So, enjoy it!
