The casual restaurant, known for its excellent fish specialties and expertly crafted Italian pasta, is owned by the talented Mario. Originally from Sorrento, Italy, Mario has gained a reputation among the Italian community for his engaging personality and professionalism. La Capannina is also recognized as one of the best pizza restaurants in Phuket, making it a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists. The restaurant, run by Ermes and his wife, has a simple setting with both indoor and outdoor seating, with the service is friendly. It offers an extensive menu, from tantalizing appetizers and excellent pasta dishes to main courses and homemade desserts. The wine list is limited, but people come here to eat well and meet friends, making the atmosphere even more pleasant, just like being in Italy.
5. Bucintoro Restaurant
Bucintoro is an Italian restaurant and pizzeria located in Soi Banzaan in Patong, Phuket, known for its traditional Italian cuisine, including wood-fired pizzas and homemade desserts. Located just steps from the Banzaan Market, Jungceylon Shopping Mall and Bangla Road, the restaurant is popular with Italian guests who indulge in the excellent, value-for-money Italian cuisine prepared by the friendly Federico, the owner, who hails from the Rovigo province, Italy.
