Black Rock viewpoint – Pa Hin Dum (ผาหินดำ)

Black Rock viewpoint is the last viewpoint that can be visited. Many years ago it was very difficult to arrive at the top, the road was very damaged and impossible to reach by car. From ‘Pa Hin Dum rock’ means Black Forest, you had to walk about 15 minutes throughout the jungle, slaloming through the branches to reach the viewpoint.

However as you are on the south side you can see the popular Nai Harn Beach at 180 degrees. Today the road and footpaths are viable. From here you can also see Windmill and Promthep Cape viewpoints, more than 10 islands near Phuket and as far as the famous Koh Phi Phi Lee and Koh Phi Phi Don and when the sky is clear you can see also Koh Lanta!

This viewpoint is fantastic and I believe that Black Rock is the best natural and quiet viewpoint of Phuket.
