The rooms

I enjoyed staying in a deluxe room at OZO Phuket, which measured 27 square meters and featured a private balcony. The room was elegantly designed and well-furnished, with modern amenities that enhanced my overall experience. One standout feature was a striking painting depicting a serene seascape of Thailand, which added a touch of local artistry to the ambiance. The private balcony provided a lovely garden view, making it an ideal spot to enjoy morning coffee or unwind in the evenings. The centerpiece of the room was a spacious king-size bed that offered a restful night’s sleep, accompanied by a comfortable sofa for relaxation or reading.

The air conditioning worked effectively, creating a pleasant environment throughout my stay. I also appreciated the designated workstation, which allowed me to catch up on tasks with ease. The satellite TV offered a wide range of channels for entertainment during downtime, and the convenience of USB plugs scattered throughout the room made charging devices effortless.

The bathroom was well-lit and thoughtfully designed, featuring a modern shower cubicle that invigorated my daily routine, although it did not include a bathtub. Essential amenities like quality toiletries, a hairdryer, and a safety deposit box enhanced the room’s functionality.

EAT is the main all-day dining restaurant at OZO Phuket, offering a wide range of international and Thai cuisine. The restaurant features a spacious, air-conditioned dining room with large windows that overlook the garden, as well as an outdoor seating area protected from the sun. The cozy dining room is well-lit but also tastefully decorated, featuring two striking marine-themed paintings along the walls and a soothing color palette in the furnishings. This detail creates an ideal setting for casual family meals or relaxed gatherings with friends. Accessibility is also a priority, as wheelchair users can easily enter via the ramp at the restaurant entrance.

Coffee enthusiasts are also well-catered, with two specially designated corners offering a variety of brews.

The menu is detailed and available in several languages, and the prices remain affordable, even within a 4-star hotel setting. I tried two exceptional Thai dishes: the Shrimp & Mango and the Stir Fried Chicken Cashew Nut, known as ‘Gai Pad Med Mamuang.’ Both dishes were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The restaurant’s diverse menu also includes pizzas, burgers, pasta, grilled items, and a tempting selection of desserts, guaranteeing something for everyone.

For dinner, I indulged in a delightful Thai-style barbecue by the pool, set against a backdrop that was both romantic and enchanting. The Shabu-Moo Kata was a highlight, featuring a complete variety of fresh pork, chicken, and seasonal vegetables served with a range of traditional dipping sauces. This communal dining experience was not only fun to share but also perfectly suited for a tropical island setting. The set is designed for two people and is priced at 699 THB net.

To ensure availability, reservations are recommended at least two hours in advance. Notably, EAT welcomes both hotel guests and non-hotel guests alike, making it a popular dining destination for all. For families with young children, OZO Phuket features two thoughtfully designed toddler pools, each 40 cm deep. These pools feature engaging playground equipment and fun waterslides, ensuring children have a memorable and entertaining experience. In addition to beverages, the bar features an enticing menu of mouthwatering snacks, ensuring that you can indulge in tasty treats while enjoying the poolside ambiance. Don’t miss the HAPPY HOUR, which takes place daily from 2 pm to 6 pm, where you can savor select drinks at half the price, making it an ideal time to relax and socialize with friends.

Chill

Chill of OZO Phuket is a thoughtfully designed, air-conditioned room with a serene environment for relaxation and socializing. In this inviting space, guests can enjoy a game of pool, catch up on their favorite TV shows, check their emails, or meet friends for lively conversations. The room features comfortable seating, ambient lighting, and modern amenities to ensure a pleasant experience. Conveniently located next to the Lobby, Chill is easily accessible for all guests. The room is open daily from 6 am to 10 pm, making it the perfect spot to unwind at any time of day.

Tone Fitness Center
