Tri Trang Beach ⛱️ in Phuket
A tranquil beach near Patong
Tri Trang Beach is a hidden paradise with a relaxed atmosphere and crystal-clear waters, a few minutes south of Phuket’s famous Patong Beach. The 500-meter-long, north-facing beach is shallow and not ideal for swimming. The main reason why the beach remains tranquil even during the high season is its distance from the main road, making it a quiet retreat, perfect for relaxing under swaying palm trees with pleasant sea views.
Tri Trang is the second most beautiful beach after Freedom Beach among the four beaches around this peninsula. The other beaches nearby are Merlin Beach, just opposite the side of Tri Trang Beach, and Paradise Beach, hidden in a cove at the end of the road.
During the high season, from November to April, the calm waters of Tri Trang Bay take on a turquoise hue and are incredibly clear, making it one of the best beaches for snorkeling. This stretch of sand is popular among guests of the luxurious Rosewood Resort and The Hideout Beachfront Hotel, which overlooks the beach. Whether you’re staying nearby or just stopping by for a few hours, this beach is definitely worth a visit. All in all, Tri Trang Beach remains a tranquil gem that retains its natural charm.
