One of the best restaurant with a view in Phuket

Tree Bay Clubhouse is a superb restaurant nestled below Karon Viewpoint that offers stunning panoramic views towards the Andaman Sea. Strategically perched on a greenery and tranquil hillside, it boasts a unique view of the 3 bays in the south west of the island: Kata Noi, Kata, and Karon far away, making it one of the best restaurants with a view in Phuket. Tree Bay Clubhouse is an open-air restaurant with a thatched roof, a chic bar, and a 270-degree open terrace boasting 99 seats, of course with a view. Enjoy an unforgettable experience indulging gourmet cuisine, exquisite selected wines, and creative cocktails, all accompanied by pleasant music.

Stop any time of the day at the Tree Bay Clubhouse, even for a drink, as it is a great spot to take a short break with a view during your Phuket exploration. The restaurant popularity it’s all about the view, especially at sunset. If you are lucky, you will admire a colorful sky after sunset to the west while the three bays getting bright by the lights in the north. It’s even visible the Big Buddha Phuket on top of the hill in the right. It can’t get better than this.

Location

Tree Bay Clubhouse is located between the beautiful Kata Noi Beach and Nui Beach on the west coast of Phuket. It is in a hidden spot overlooking the ocean, just below the well-known Karon Viewpoint. From the viewpoint, the restaurant is just 300 meters away. The nearest Kata Noi and Kata beaches seem that they are a few steps away, but surprisingly they are 10 km away north. Nai Harn Beach, considered as one of the most beautiful beaches in Phuket, is just 4.5 km away.

To get there from Patong Beach it is easy. Just drive on the coastal road that connects Patong to Karon and Kata. At the intersection after the Beyond Kata Resort, turn right and drive for 3 km to reach Karon Viewpoint. Just after the viewpoint turn right, drive downhill for 200 meters and turn right and then left to reach the Tree Bay Clubhouse restaurant.

Getting to the restaurant from Phuket Town is certainly more challenging. The restaurant is 17 km from Phuket old Town. First, drive to the direction of Chalong, and from the roundabout keep the road to reach Kata Beach. Drive for 3.8 km and turn left to Koktanod Road and keep driving for 4.4 km to reach the viewpoint. Then follow the info above to reach the restaurant because you are almost arrived.

The food

The food served at Tree bay Clubhouse, is a contemporary and gentle modern twist of gourmet cuisine. The dishes are beautifully presented, with a delightful balance of taste and textures. The menu is simple and well-illustrated with photos and description for each dish, offering a special dinner experience at a reasonable price. Recently the menu has been updated with the addition of some Italian dishes: such as starters and pasta.

The drink list is wide with a large choice of cocktails prepared by a talented bartender. The wine list at Tree Bay Clubhouse is quite extensive, with a great selection of wines from around the world. Head Italian Manager Alessio is grateful to help you choose the perfect wine to pair with your meal.

We started our dinner with a Beef Carpaccio, and a creamy fresh Burrata served with Salami Milano on fresh rocket salad. A cold dish which is appetizing and delicate. Then we indulged with Spaghetti Scallops. Spaghetti with delicious scallops, served with cherry tomatoes, shallots, and garlic. The Spaghetti was excellent, and served al dente as requested.

We also ordered some main courses: a Prawn and Scallops Stew. Savory stew served with tender prawns and scallops, cherry tomatoes, and bread. A yummy Italian delicacy. It’s a must try! To conclude, after a beautiful sunset, we indulged in dessert. A French Cheese Cake, with a hint of vanilla served with strawberry and blueberries. We went here with friends and the best way to enjoy the food is to share the dishes.

Combined with the view, exquisite food, breeze, great music, and spotless service, our dining experience was delightful and unforgettable. The restaurant is relatively new, and it has already become popular due to the outstanding view.
